Description
Cardules Plus 10 Capsule is a combination medicine used for the treatment of mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure) and to prevent chest pain (angina). Patients are advised to maintain a strict exercise and diet regimen along with this medicine to get the best possible effect. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to atenolol, any other beta blockers, nifedipine, any other medicines belonging to the dihydropyridines class of drugs, or any other inactive ingredients present along with these medicines.

Cardiogenic shock

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from a cardiogenic shock due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Heart block greater than first degree

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from a heart block greater than first degree due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Sick sinus syndrome

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from sick sinus syndrome or sinus bradycardia due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Uncompensated cardiac failure

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with uncompensated cardiac failure due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Severe pulmonary edema

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe pulmonary edema due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Severe renal impairment

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 15 mL/min/1.73 m2, GFR < 30 ml/min, serum creatinine > 600 mmol/L) due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Severe liver impairment

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with severe liver impairment due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Aortic stenosis

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with aortic stenosis due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Pheochromocytoma

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with an untreated pheochromocytoma due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient’s condition.

Hypotension

General warnings

Cardiac Failure

This medicine may cause heart failure and reduced blood flow in patients suffering from heart diseases. Close monitoring of heart function and vital signs is recommended for such patients. Major surgery

This medicine should be used with caution in patients who are scheduled to undergo major surgery. An anesthetic agent with little negative inotropic activity should be selected to minimize the adverse effect on the heart.

Lung Diseases

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from lung diseases who do not respond to other antihypertensive medications. Start with the lowest possible dose and increase the dose based on the clinical condition. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Hyperlipidemia

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with hyperlipidemia since it may alter the serum lipid levels. Sports
