Description
Candid 1% Spray is an antifungal medication used to treat skin infections caused by a fungus (yeast). Fungi are small organisms that are present in our surroundings such as air, soil, plants and water. Some live in the human body and are responsible for causing infections. Fungal infections may cause redness, itching, and blisters on the skin. Candid 1% Spray is used to treat athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, skin, fingernails, and toenails infections caused by fungus. Candid 1% Spray may rarely cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These symptoms last only for a very few days and disappear with time. Do not use this spray if you are previously allergic to it. Shake the bottle well before using the Candid 1% Spray. Spray a thin film of liquid to the affected area of skin 1 or 2 times daily. Wash your hands before and after each application. Keep the affected area clean and dry because the presence of water can increase fungal growth.

Spray a thin film of Candid 1% Spray to the affected areas 1 or 2 times daily. Finish your entire prescribed period of treatment even if your symptoms begin to clear up after a few days. Do not use a bandage or dressing to cover the affected areas unless directed by the doctor. If you have a fungal infection, wash your clothes, socks or tights thoroughly every day and also avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes.

How it works
Candid 1% Spray kills the fungus by stopping their cell wall formation. It works by preventing the fungi from making a substance called ergosterol, which is necessary for cell wall production.
