Description
Candid 1% Lotion is an antifungal medicine used to treat fungal infections of your skin. It works by stopping the growth of the infection-causing fungi. Candid 1% Lotion may rarely cause rash, burning sensation, irritation, itching, redness, etc., at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Candid 1% Lotion is meant for external use only. Apply it to the affected part of your skin as directed by your doctor. Continue using this medicine for the prescribed duration to prevent the risk of relapse of the infection. Candid 1% Lotion should be avoided if you are allergic to it. If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medication.

Use effective contraceptive methods

Candid 1% Lotion may damage the rubber contraceptives (condoms or diaphragms) and thereby reduce their effectiveness. If you are using this medicine on the vulva or penis, it is recommended to use an alternative contraceptive method for at least five days after using this medicine.

Candid 1% Lotion is meant for external use only. Use it as directed by your doctor. Close the cover of the tube immediately after use to keep it clean and free from contamination. Do not wipe or rinse the tip of the tube. Use Candid 1% Lotion at around the same time daily for the ease of remembrance. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless instructed by your doctor. The infected area may cause itchiness. Avoid scratching as it will damage the surface of your skin and cause the infection to spread further. Do not share your towels, clothes, etc., with others as you could spread the infection to them.
