Description
C Fode 100 Tablet is an antibiotic medicine that contains cefpodoxime. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs, nose, throat, ears, skin, bladder, etc. It kills the bacteria, thereby stops the infection from spreading. C Fode 100 Tablet is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Your doctor may advise this medicine alone or in combination with other medications to treat bacterial infections. C Fode 100 Tablet has side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if any side effects are seen for a longer period. Do not take this medicine if you are previously allergic to it. C Fode 100 Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. C Fode 100 Tablet can be taken with food for better absorption. For the ease of remembering, take it at the same time every day. Once the antibiotic is started, ensure that the entire course of treatment is completed. Avoid unnecessary use of C Fode 100 Tablet, as excessive use may cause the bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics. C Fode 100 Tablet effects may be delayed when taken with medications that reduce the production of stomach acids like antacids, proton pump inhibitors or H2 blockers. Therefore, take C Fode 100 Tablet at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after taking antacids. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, before using C Fode 100 Tablet.
