Description

Zoladex 3.6 mg Injection is an anticancer drug used in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. It is used along with radiation therapy for the treatment of localized prostate cancer. In women, this medicine can be used for palliative treatment of advanced breast cancer, abnormal uterine bleeding, and endometriosis, a condition characterized by abnormal growth of uterine tissue, severe pain, and heavy or irregular periods.

Prostate cancer

This medicine is used in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer. It is also used along with radiation therapy for the treatment of localized prostate cancer.

Endometriosis

Zoladex 3.6 mg Injection is used in the treatment of endometriosis, a condition characterized by abnormal growth of uterine tissue, severe pain, and irregular menstrual cycles.

Palliative treatment of breast cancer

In women, Zoladex 3.6 mg Injection is used in the palliative treatment of advanced breast cancer, to relieve symptoms of pain.

Abnormal uterine bleeding

Zoladex 3.6 mg Injection is used as an endometrial thinning agent prior to endometrial ablation for dysfunctional uterine bleeding.
