Description

New Triben-XT Cream is a medicine consists of terbinafine, ofloxacin and clobetasol. It is used for the treatment of skin infections. It helps to relieve redness, swelling, and itching associated with fungal skin infections, surgical wound infections, bacterial skin infections, skin conditions such as psoriasis, dermatoses, ichthyosis, etc. New Triben-XT Cream may rarely cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. These symptoms are normal and disappear with time. Do not use New Triben-XT Cream if you are allergic to it. New Triben-XT Cream is for external use only, use it as prescribed by your doctor. Apply a thin film of the New Triben-XT Cream to the affected area 1-2 times a day. Wash and dry the affected area before application. Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth, if any contact occurs rinse with water. Keep the affected area clean and dry because the presence of water can increase microbial growth. New Triben-XT Cream is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age because of limited safety information. Consult your doctor before using this medicine, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you are using/used any other medicine for the same condition.

New Triben-XT Cream is used in the treatment of symptoms such as itching, swelling, rash, and redness of the skin.

Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a skin disorder that occurs due to increased cell growth resulting in itchy, red, and sore patches on the skin. This condition can occur in any part of your body such as the scalp, knees, or elbow. Using New Triben-XT Cream can provide relief from symptoms of psoriasis such as rashes, itchy patches and red skin with silvery scales.

Ichthyosis

Ichthyosis or fish scale disease is a genetic skin disorder where the skin appears dry like fish’s scales. It occurs when your skin does not shed its dead skin cells. New Triben-XT Cream helps to relieve the symptoms of ichthyosis such as thick and dry scales.

Athlete's foot (Tinea pedis)

Tinea pedis or Athlete's foot is a fungal foot infection that usually begins between your toes and spreads to the toenails. It occurs when fungus grows on your feet. You may get this infection by contact with infected skin, or fungus in the environment. This condition is common in people whose feet have become very sweaty when confined within tight-fitting shoes. New Triben-XT Cream is used in the treatment of tinea pedis.

New Triben-XT Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, wounds, or broken skin. Wash with plenty of water in case of accidental contact. Apply a thin layer of New Triben-XT Cream to the affected area as instructed by the doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Do not apply New Triben-XT Cream in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless instructed by your doctor. How it works

Clobetasol is a steroid that prevents the production of certain chemical substances (prostaglandins) that causes redness, itching and swelling on your skin. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that stops the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase which helps to kill or prevent the growth of bacteria. Terbinafine stops the growth of fungi by preventing the formation of the fungal cell wall.
