Description

Imiquad Cream is a topical cream. It is used in the treatment of actinic keratoses, a condition where the skin gets thickened and rough due to damage from sun exposure. It is also used in the treatment of external genital or perianal warts (abnormal growths on the skin around the genital area and outside of the anus) and superficial basal cell carcinoma (a type of skin cancer). Imiquad Cream works by stimulating the immune system and thus helps in treating various skin conditions. Imiquad Cream may cause side effects like redness, burning sensation, irritation, or itching, at the site of application. These side effects are mild and may subside on their own. If they bother you for a longer time or worsen, consult your doctor for further assistance. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Imiquad Cream is for external use only. Clean and dry the affected area and apply a thin layer of this medicine. Do not use more than the prescribed amount. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, and broken skin. Wash your hands before and after applying the medicine, unless the area to be treated are your hands. Use it regularly and do not discontinue the medicine without consulting your doctor. Imiquad Cream may not be suitable for everyone. Inform your doctor if you have other skin conditions and about your ongoing medications before starting the treatment with Imiquad Cream. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using this medicine.
