Description
Combitide 250 Octacaps is a combination of Fluticasone Propionate and Salmeterol. This medicine is used to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulty, coughing, etc. caused by asthma (a condition that causes narrowing of the airways) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (lung conditions in which the airflow is blocked, leading to breathing difficulty). It works by relaxing and widening the muscles in your airways.
Combitide 250 Octacaps may cause some side effects like headache, throat irritation, stuffy nose, and hoarseness of voice. Inform your doctor if these side effects remain for a long time or become severe. Avoid using it if you are allergic to it.
Combitide 250 Octacaps should be used in the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. For the ease of remembering, use it around the same time every day. Even if you see an improvement in your condition, do not stop using it. If you discontinue this medicine early, your symptoms may reoccur. It should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks.
Combitide 250 Octacaps may not be suitable for all people. It is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
