Ciprobid 10 MG Injection is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic used for the treatment of bacterial infections that affect the skin, joints, lungs, urinary tract, or reproductive organs. This injection is effective against a large number of bacteria. It kills or prevents the growth of bacteria in the body. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Side effects of Ciprobid 10 MG Injection are diarrhoea, pain at the injection site, headache, weakness, and dizziness. Ciprobid 10 MG Injection can cause muscle damage, usually in the ankle. It should only be used to treat or prevent infections that are caused by bacteria. Once an antibiotic is started, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment.

Community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) refers to pneumonia (lung infection) that is acquired outside the hospital. CAP can be bacterial or viral. Ciprobid 10 MG Injection is used to treat CAP caused by bacteria like Mycoplasma pneumonia, Streptococcus pneumonia, Haemophilus influenzae, etc.

Bronchitis

Bronchitis is the swelling and irritation of bronchial tubes that regulates air passage in the lungs. Ciprobid 10 MG Injection is used to treat bronchitis caused by bacteria.

Cystitis

Cystitis is the swelling of the urinary bladder usually caused by a bacterial infection. This is more common in women because their urethra is much shorter, which means bacteria can go into the bladder more easily. Ciprobid 10 MG Injection is used to treat cystitis caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci, and Klebsiella species.
