Description

Celin 100 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of vitamin C deficiency. It is a vitamin supplement that works by improving vitamin C levels in your body. Celin 100 mg Tablet may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting, stomach cramps, headache, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Celin 100 mg Tablet should be taken exactly as directed by your doctor. Take it at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your body. Celin 100 mg Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have a history of kidney stones before beginning treatment with this medicine. Close evaluation with respect to your current medicines is necessary to avoid any undesired side effects. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or are planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor before taking this medication.

Celin 100 mg Tablet improves vitamin C levels in your body. This medicine is used in the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency. It is also used in the treatment of a severe form of vitamin C deficiency called scurvy (a condition that causes symptoms of bruising, bleeding gums, weakness, fatigue, and skin rash).

Allergy

Hyperoxaluria is a condition that occurs when there are high levels of oxalate in your urine. Celin 100 mg Tablet is not recommended if you have hyperoxaluria due to the increased risk of severe side effects.

General warnings

Kidney stones

Celin 100 mg Tablet can acidify the urine, resulting in the formation of urate, cystine, or oxalate stones in your kidneys. This medicine should be used with caution if you have a history of kidney stones. Clinical monitoring of urine for pH and crystal formation is recommended.

G6PD deficiency

G6PD Deficiency is a genetic condition characterized by the deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) enzyme. This causes your red blood cells to break down in response to certain medications, infections, or other stresses. Celin 100 mg Tablet should be used with caution if you have this condition due to the increased risk of haemolysis (breakdown of your red blood cells).

Smoking

Smoking cigarettes or the use of tobacco products in other forms may reduce the effectiveness of Celin 100 mg Tablet and should be avoided.

Other medicines

Celin 100 mg Tablet may interact with other medicines and may cause undesired side effects. Inform your doctor about your current medicines including any herbs or supplements before taking this medicine.

Missed Dose

Try not to skip a dose of Celin 100 mg Tablet. Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one.

Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Contact your doctor if you suspect an overdose with Celin 100 mg Tablet.
