What is it prescribed for?

Primary Hypercholesterolemia (high levels of cholesterol in the blood)

This medicine is used to treat primary hypercholesterolemia, a condition characterized by high levels of cholesterol in the blood.

Mixed Dyslipidemia

This medicine is used to reduce high levels of LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood (main constituents of body fat in humans and other animals, as well as vegetable fat). It also increases the levels of high-density cholesterol.

Hypertriglyceridemia

This medicine is used to reduce the abnormally increased triglycerides levels in the blood.

Homozygous Familial Hypercholesterolemia

This medicine is used in the management of homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, a hereditary condition characterized by high blood cholesterol and lipid levels.

Prevention of cardiovascular diseases
