Description
Atorsave D 40 Tablet is a combination medicine used to reduces the levels of bad cholesterol in the body. It is also used for prevention of cardiovascular diseases who are at an increased risk of complications such as a stroke, heart attack, peripheral vascular disease, etc. Patients are advised to maintain an appropriate exercise and diet regimen along with this medicine to get the best possible effect.

Allergy

Hypercalcemia (high amount of calcium in the blood)

Hypervitaminosis D

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with abnormally high levels of Vitamin D3 in the body due to the increased risk of adverse effects.

Atorvastatin acts on an enzyme responsible for the production of cholesterol in the blood. Thus, the level of cholesterol produced in the blood gets reduced over time. Cholecalciferol (vitamin-D3), acts by promoting the absorption of calcium, phosphates and Vitamin A from different organs and helps in maintaining overall health.
