Description
Acnesol Cl 1% Lotion is a macrolide antibiotic used for the treatment of acne vulgaris. It is a common skin disease that occurs due to the blockage of the hair follicles in the skin. Staphylococcus aureus and Propionibacterium cane are acne-causing bacteria. It can appear on the face, back, and chest. It may consist of blackheads (open plugged pores), whiteheads (closed plugged pores), small pustules with pus, or painful lumps beneath the skin. Do not use Acnesol Cl 1% Lotion in children below 12 years of age.
Acne or pimples is more likely to occur in teens due to hormonal changes during puberty. In women, acne can also occur just before their period. It affects almost everyone at some point in life.
