Description
Altargo Ointment is an antibacterial agent used for the treatment of bacterial skin infections such as Primary impetigo, secondarily infected traumatic lesions, secondarily infected dermatoses. This medicine not recommended for use in infants below the age of 9 months.

Abscesses

This medicine is not recommended for treating Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections due to the increased risk of worsening the condition. An alternative treatment option should be considered based on clinical condition.

External Use Only

This medicine is recommended for external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, mucous membranes, or open wounds.

Missed Dose

Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Overdose

Apply a thin layer of the cream/ointment to the affected area as instructed by the doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless specifically instructed by the doctor.
