Akcip 500 MG Tablet is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections such as Bronchitis, Pneumonia, Gonococcal infection and certain types of infectious diarrhea. It should be avoided in patients who are allergic to other bactericidal antibiotics. Use with caution in the elderly population as it increases the risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture.

Avoid breastfeeding for about 3 to 4 hours to decrease the infant's risk exposure. Monitoring of undesired effects like diarrhea, diaper rash is necessary.
