Acrub 1% Lotion is an antibiotic used for the treatment of acne (pimples, blackheads, or whiteheads) on your face, back, and chest caused by bacteria. It helps in reducing excess oil production, blackheads, whiteheads, or painful lumps beneath the skin. Acrub 1% Lotion works by stopping the growth of bacteria that cause acne. Acrub 1% Lotion may cause side effects such as skin rash, dry skin, redness, itching, and burning sensation at the site of application. Contact your doctor if these side effects persist or become worse. Acrub 1% Lotion is meant for external use only. Wash and dry the affected area. Apply a small amount of Acrub 1% Lotion to the affected area as instructed by your doctor. Make sure to wash your hands before and after use. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth. Acrub 1% Lotion is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor about any other anti-acne medicines that you are using.
