He completed his MD in Pediatrics from Government Medical College, Amritsar, followed by a DM in Neonatology from the prestigious ABVIMS & Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi. With more than 10 years of post-MD experience, including 5 years as a Senior Consultant in Pediatrics and Neonatology, Dr. Banga has consistently demonstrated excellence in neonatal care.
He has been recognized at the national level for his impactful research on neonatal weight loss patterns and the development of effective interventions to mitigate their consequences. His dedication to evidence-based practice continues to shape his clinical and academic pursuits.
Dr. Banga’s core area of interest lies in the care of extremely preterm infants, with a particular focus on developmental supportive care aimed at helping them achieve their full growth and developmental potential.
