Dr. Amit Kansal

Dr. Kansal is a clinician with the special interest in Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases and primary Immunodeficiencies. Besides being a clinician he has an interest in newer treatments in various Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases especially Rheumatoid Arthritis, SLE, Vasculitis, and Scleroderma. He specializes in the workup of longstanding unexplained fever (Pyrexia of unknown Origin). His current research interests include drug resistance in SLE. As a Rheumatologist, he diagnoses and treats Arthritis, Autoimmune Diseases, Musculoskeletal Pain Disorders and Osteoporosis. He also cares for children and adults with recurrent and unusual infections (Primary Immunodeficiency).
