Dr. Upasana Palo

Dr. Upasana Palo, MBBS MS DNB MRCOG DrNB, is a distinguished gynecologic oncologist and minimal access surgeon. She is a leader in her field and one of the first board-certified gynecologic oncologists in Eastern India. She is the first female surgeon with a super-specialty doctoral degree in gynecologic oncology in West Bengal. Her expertise spans complex gynecologic surgeries, advanced cytoreductive cancer surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, robotic surgeries, and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). Trained at the renowned Tata Medical Centre, Dr. Palo's passion lies in robotic surgery, ultra-radical surgeries, oncofertility, and hereditary cancer management, particularly focusing on ovarian, endometrial, cervical, and other gynecologic cancers.
