I was referred to Dr Tapan on an emergency basis when I got my USG report and had a stomachache and continuous Vomiting. I was very scared of Surgery and post recovery specially bcz of my body weight. in addition to weight, I only have aged parents at home and there is no one to take care of me fully.And this pain of Gallbladder was killing me.. And I was in dellima of what to do.But your approach and way of talking, explaining the problem, helped me with confidence that I can be fine post surgery.. Kidding over fatty liver was good too ** ******* **** ******** ** ****** **** ***** So reduce weight"I didn't feel scared for the surgery and talking to you, I know that I was in safe hands.. May be how minor or major the surgery is but that satisfaction that "I am in safe hands" doesn't come from every one. I went tension free in the operation room and came out good as well.. My wife,Deblina pal was suffering from acute cholecystitis. We got his reference from a friend. I consulted him for gallbladder surgery. He really holds a great personality and keep calm and make everything so simple and easy to understand that you get yourself 80% cured after consulting with him. Still remember when everyone was upsetting me by putting lots of restriction on food and scaring me about diminishing my digestion capability post removal of gallbladder, and being a foodie it was very difficult for me to accept those kind of very very bounded life, less food, follow strict diet chart. But 1 week after surgery when consulted him, he told it was simple surgery and you are fully fit now and head towards home by walking, no rickshaw and no need to see me again and before operation also his cool and calm word " just sleep for 30 mins, i will get it done", which put a bigger confidence on me and really living my life nowadays, obviously 1st 1 month after surgery had to take light food only. At the time of Post surgery follow-up - the doctor was unduly rude *** ******** ******* *** **** ** *** ****** ** ******* *** ******** *** * ** *** ******** **** **** Have never witnessed such an unprofessional behaviour. Recommend to avoid him *** ***** **** ***** ***************

My mother was taken seriously ill all of a sudden, when we came to Kolkata for a vacation. Relatives suggested us to go to Columbia Asia Hospital on 30th June '18. My mom got admitted under Dr. Tapan Mukherjee.

My mother, my whole family and myself is extremely lucky to have such a doctor. We never heard his name before and as the Gods gift, my mother was under him.

Looking at her age Dr.TK.Mukherjee patiently started treating my mother and proposed surgery only when it became clear, that is the only solution.

Dr.Mukherjee took care of our emotions (initially we did not agree for surgery ) waited enough and finally did a wonderful operation.

By the Gods grace and Dr. Mukherjee's treatment, my mother is improving and we are planning to return to Delhi.

I was badly in need of a surgeon for my wife's silent Gall Stone. I got Sir's reference from one of my Doctor school friends.

In 2009 i was suffering from a tumor type condition, in my lft leg there is a injury due to a boil and dr mukherjee done the surgery by removing the necrotic tissues. I am so satisfied.
