Ms. Swati Chowdhury

Ms. Swati Chowdhury is a clinical psychologist and therapist in Kolkata, having an experience of about 10 years in the field of mental healthcare in different capacities. She has been practicing as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist registered with RCI since 2015.Ms. Swati Chowdhury is associated with multiple health centers and clinics throughout Kolkata, notably Ruby General Hospital, Crystal Clinic & Harlem Point. Ms. Swati Chowdhury has done her M.Phil in Medical & Social Psychology from Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP), Ranchi. Prior to that, she got her Honours (Psychology) and Masters (Applied Psychology) Degree with a specialization in Clinical Psychology from the University of Calcutta. She also holds an M.S certificate in Psychotherapy & Counselling and a Certificate in Marital & Family Counselling under the State Legal Services Authority. She is a member of the Indian Psychiatric Society.She is adept at working with divergent clientele, children as well as adults. She appreciates the distinct individuality of human beings, and is interested in Psychological Assessments and helping them out through different methods of Psychotherapy. Of late, she has developed the special interest in the application of Music Therapy in mental health care, on which she wrote a thesis during her M.Phil.
