He is very much transparent interns of explaining the disease and aspects of not getting treated on an immediate note. I was suffering from Grade IV Piles from last 10 years. tried homeopathy, Ayurveda everything. After consulting with Dr Somak, he suggested me laser ablation of piles. The procedure went very well. Today, I'll be sharing my experience with Dr. Somak Ghosh. I had my first appointment with him in 23rd July, 2021. I was suffering from Perianal Fistula for 3 months. On that day, the appointment was at 6pm but he came at 8.30pm. After checking my fistula area he advised me Laser Ablation of Fistula Treatment. He told me about the Swasthya Sathi, Medical Insurance and everything related to that. We had Swasthya Sathi Card. He told me that the hospital charges will be covered by Swasthya Sathi but we have to pay for the Laser Machine which was 20k. Being from a lower middle class family, the amount was high for us. But he suggested that it has 99.99% success rate. We managed the amount somehow. Then, I did the basic medical tests and an MRI of my Perineum. On 11th of August I had my surgery. I was admitted on 10th at TECHNO INDIA DAMA HOSPITAL which was in Chingrighata. On the day of surgery Dr called my mother provately to take the amount of Rs 20K. We haven;t received the bill of that 20K till date. You will be surprised to know that I was not given any Tetanus Injection before my surgery. As this was my first surgery I didn't know the procedures before my surgery. Later one of my closed friends' uncle who is a Doctor told me this. Anyways, according to him the surgery went well. But after the surgery pus from the tract was still coming out. I was having mild to moderate pain. Sometimes bleeding was also happening. 1 months, 2 months, 3 months passed, but I was having the previous problem. In the mean time I went to his chamber multiple times to show him my condition. But after the surgery his response was not well. We were spending Rs 650 for every appointment but he was not checking me for even 10 minutes. The only thing he was doing is prescribing me antibiotics whose price was 150-200/piece. 5 months passed. Still I was having the same problem *** **** **** **** *** **** ****** Then one day he told me that my fistula has re-occurred. We have to do surgery again. Then I told him stating that the previous laser surgery was unsuccessful so this time we should do the Open Surgery. But he told that "Open Surgery will cause a lot of bleeding, better to go with Laser Surgery". Then I ask for discount. He told me that he can help to deduct 1-1.5K at max. I was very much amazed. A surgeon is saying "Open Surgery will cause a lot of bleeding". Nice!!! I was in dilemma whether it is good to remove gallbladder from body or not. Doctor explained me gallbladder already stopped functioning and that's why stone are formed.

There is no side effects of removing it.
