After having one wisdom tooth removed by another doctor, I was absolutely terrified by the amount of pain that I had suffered, and thought it was normal, until I came to Dr. Shuvro Sengupta who removed three wisdom teeth in about 40 min with really no pain.

I had to reschedule the appointment several times without any problems. When I finally arrived for the procedure, I was very nervous before having my three wisdom teeth removed – especially because one tooth was positioned sideways in my jaw and hadn't even erupted . He explained to me in detail what he was going to do and what I would feel before each step – this was incredibly reassuring. Before starting, he carefully tested whether the anesthetic was fully effective.

The first two teeth were removed in just 5 minutes, and the difficult, tilted tooth – was also removed calmly and precisely. The entire procedure only took about 40 minutes. Afterward, everything was stitched up and checked with an X-ray. What I remember most positively was the local anesthetic administered before the actual injection. This consisted of a piece of dry ice mixed with a local anesthetic, which you simply let dissolve in your mouth before the actual injection of the local anesthetic was given. This ensured a certain level of numbness even before the injection was administered, and the injection itself was completely painless! This seemingly small convenience made a huge difference for me, and I was very happy and grateful for it.

Even after the treatment, Dr made sure I understood all the important information for the healing process. I have to say the whole experience was a hundred times better and less dramatic than I had expected .

Dr Sengupta's experience and mastery in his field is very evident from the extreme accuracy with which Dr can predict exactly what a patient should expect during and after his or her surgery . In my 70 year old father's case , where he underwent surgery for extraction of his remaining 18 teeth and jawbone smoothening for future implants, Dr Sengupta did his work immaculately and with unbelievable finesse . My father had absolutely no pain during the procedure . And now it's been nearly 36 hours my father hasn't felt ANY pain till now . I had 5 ROOT CANAL TREATMENTS two weeks ago from Dr Shuvro Sengupta and two or three months ago I had two minor oral surgeries... I'm a very anxious patient and usually tremble all over like a leaf, completely tense, as soon as I lie down in the dental chair—no, wait, even before—sweating, flashing hot and cold flashes, nausea to the max, etc. ...but NOT WITH HIM**** **. And as for the injections, they're fantastic...with Dr. Sengupta ,for the first time, I have no problems at the injection sites afterward. Dr Shuvro radiates a genuine friendliness that immediately makes you feel at ease. The clinic is modern and superbly equipped, and Dr was consistently friendly and empathetic. I was a bit apprehensive as I should have had my wisdom teeth removed years ago.

I have all 4 wisdom teeth, all under bone , and had tried to have all removed by another doctor a number of yrs ago. Since this was 'elective', and I was having NO problems, that dentist refused to remove any of these teeth. Finally, 3.5 months ago, the bottom right one went very bad. It was well below the gum line, and had decayed to a point where it was finally creating an impact on the closest nerve, resulting in serious discomfort up to the right Joint. I had a significant case of infection in front teeth.To the point where one prognosis was to remove the teeth completely and have implants. Dr. Sengupta went through the scans I had brought and determined the teeth could potentially be saved with a specialized root canal , involving a medication for the infection. My father in law recently had all his teeth in the lower jaw replaced with Implant supported denture from Dr Sengupta. My son is a doctor too .
