Dr. Shuvro Sengupta is so highly skilled that I wasn't surprised that my root canals were 100% pain free! He was extremely sweet taking the time to explain what was going on every step of the way. I had a significant case of infection in front teeth.To the point where one prognosis was to remove the teeth completely and have implants. Dr. Sengupta went through the scans I had brought and determined the teeth could potentially be saved with a specialized root canal , involving a medication for the infection. Worth it as I highly preferred any option to try and save the teeth! We scheduled the 2 procedures, and it was one of the smoothest dental related experiences I've ever had. I felt no significant pain throughout! Dr. Sengupta is extremely thorough, compassionate and respectful of his patients. Dr. Sengupta has a wonderful way with patients. My father in law recently had all his teeth in the lower jaw replaced with Implant supported denture from Dr Sengupta. My son is a doctor too . He had recommended Dr Sengupta and accompanied us to all the appointments. According to my son , Dr Sengupta has excellent anesthesia techniques and uses very updated equipments. We also have witnessed Dr Sengupta's communication skills , which I must say , was very good . Dr Sengupta is a very well trained clinician with excellent bedside manner. I was surprised how much time he takes to listen to his patients. He provided us several options regarding the implants and educated us about the benefits of each type . I couldn't have made a better choice. Dr. Sengupta was really good – after a few days, I resumed my normal life, after less than a week, I could eat practically anything, and now, two weeks later, I sometimes forgot that my wisdom teeth were extracted because I don't feel the slightest discomfort. I didn't expect such a quick recovery, and it shows how well he knows his craft. I highly recommend him to everyone!

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed, two were decayed and one was partially underneath bone . They caused me pain and discomfort .Day of the surgery I was a nervous reck . Dr recognized it instantly, talked to me about random day to day things and instantly calmed me down. Words can't even explain how nervous I was getting all my wisdom teeth removed . My mother had severe gum issues . Extraction and dentures were advised by all . Dr Sengupta educated my parents about how she could retain her natural teeth and how Dental implants could be placed for her missing teeth . She had her full mouth reconstructed in the span of 5 months . The level of support and encouragement my family has received from Dr Sengupta in this period is very rare to say the truth.

I have 12 teeth crowned as part of Full Mouth Reconstruction procedure to change the shape and size of my front teeth in both upper and lower jaws . None of them needed to be root canal-treated. This was possible only because Dr Sengupta was my doctor . All other doctors advised root canal treatment. Some members of my extended family have got their dental bridges made by Dr Sengupta. They too didn't need to have their teeth root canal treated. They are doing absolutely fine . I had a deep-rooted phobia of surgery for years, and the idea of getting any major dental treatment done—let alone removing three wisdom teeth—filled me with dread. After putting it off for as long as I could, I finally realized that the discomfort was too much to bear. I decided to take a chance and contacted Dr Sengupta, and let me just say***** *** ***** **** *** ** *** **** ********* **** **** **** *** ** ****** * He is the kind of doctor you hope to find when facing something as daunting as wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. explained the procedure in a way that was easy to understand, answered all my questions with patience. This was my first time getting a wisdom tooth removal so I was nervous. Dr. explained every step before using the local anesthesia and coached me with breathing to help me relax as he used the local anesthesia. He always checked to make sure I didn’t feel pain and was very thorough.

The surgery itself was a complete success. What surprised me the most was how painless the entire process was! I had been bracing myself for discomfort or pain, but the whole thing was practically effortless on my end. Dr's expertise made all the difference. Post-surgery, the recovery instructions were clear, and I felt well-prepared for what to expect. I’m happy to say that within a few days, I was back to eating and biting normally, and I feel so much better now. I’ve recommended Dr Sengupta to friends that need their wisdom teeth removed!

A perfect smile is what provides one with confidence...and only perfect teeth can provide one such smile. I am a college student. One day in college I slipped from the stairs and broke half of one of my incisors. It was very painful and also looked very bad. I was looking for a highly qualified, understanding and dependable doctor and Dr. Shuvro Sengupta met all my needs. After talking to the doctor for the very first time I felt very good as he explained me what are the remedies for my pain. I had the broken half of my tooth with me. As I had to go to college the next day Dr. Shuvro Sengupta perfectly managed to join that broken half of my tooth. It looked almost natural. I was very much pleased with that. I think that was the fastest solution possible. Then he prescribed me a root canal treatment as soon as possible. It was going good until my tooth started to pain. The pain was random and immense. Dr. Shuvro Sengupta told me to undergo a root canal treatment as soon as possible but I got a bit late which caused to linger my tooth pain. I went to visit Dr Shuvro Sengupta again. I went through a painless RCT. He asked me numerous times whether I was feeling uncomfortable or any sort of pain while he was performing the RCT. After that it went just fine for nearly seven months without any pain or problem until the broken half of my tooth that was temporarily fixed got detached while I was trying to eat a roasted corn with that teeth. That was very careless of me. Then finally I went to visit Dr. Shuvro Sengupta again and in just two sittings my broken tooth was perfectly crowned. The crowned tooth of mine looks totally natural and feels very good and strong. The overall experience was very good. I am very thankful to him for providing me with such a wonderful and caring treatment. So I have got back my smile and thus my confidence .

It is an honour to write a review for the dental treatment administered by Dr Sengupta. I was recovering from a very critical post-covid haul when I realized that I needed some dental treatment. As his clinic is situated in the same neighbourhood where I stay; I approached him one day with little doubt on how my new dentist was going to be. After my first visit, I was convinced that I came to the right dentist as he explained what were the problems and how they could be treated. I have done two re-RCT and changed my over-sized crown of one tooth, treated pockets which was troubling me for months and without any hassle.

Dr Sengupta's clinic is clean and disabled friendly. He pays extra attention to covid protocols and keeps the space hygienic. He also uses very good quality material, and the best part is that for a curious and fussy patient like me, he explains every thing very patiently! He is very professional and as well as friendly. At one point I have thought, our country needs good doctors like him who has such sound knowledge of the profession they are in and providing services to so many citizens.

During one of the sessions, which dragged for 2 months, I faced a neuro related pain. He took extra care by following up with me, recommended the right medicine and never charged me extra for follow-up consultations. Dental treatments are expensive but at the end it's worth paying if one gets a super quality treatment as provided by Dr Sengupta. I highly recommend fellow citizens and friends to consult him in case one needs a dental treatment.

I must say this as a queer rights activist, I have felt extremely comfortable and not received any biased or homophobic attitude from him which I have faced in the past from a few medical practitioners. My queer folx can approach Dr Sengupta without any inhibition or hesitation.

As my dentist says, 'brush twice for 2 minutes and keep smiling', that's the secret behind a happy and healthy face 🙂
