Dr. Malay Kumar Mandal

I am currently working as visiting Orthopaedic Consultant in Belle Vue Clinic. I also teach in KPC Medical College & Hospital, Jadavpur as Assistant Professor.I am an active member of both West Bengal and Indian Orthopaedic Association. I have got several publication and presentation in national and international level. I am also interested in Clinical Research and audit. I was also a Faculty Member for AO Introduction Programme in Jamshedpur and AO Advanced Trauma Course in Kolkata.After finishing my post-graduation from SSKM Hospital, I went to UK. I started working in Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, where I learnt various hip and knee replacement techniques. I also worked in three DGHs before starting to work as an Orthopaedic Registrar in Rotherham Hospital, UK. I used to run both trauma and orthopaedic clinics on my own. I worked in different specialities such as knee, hip, shoulder and hand. I am well trained in hip, knee and shoulder replacements. I also do knee arthroscopy and conversant in various ligament reconstruction procedures. I am trained in Trauma management and undertake all sorts of trauma surgery including pelvic fractures.
