Dr. Tapan Kr. Ghosh

Dr. Tapan Kumar Ghosh pursued his Honors in Organic Chemistry from Calcutta University in 1994. In 1998 he did his bachelorship in dental surgery from Nagpur University. After practicing general dentistry for 10 years he did his Fellowship in Implant Dentistry from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, USA. From 2012 he gradually shifted his practice exclusively to Implantology and did his second Fellowship from ICOI, USA in 2015 & his third from FOR, Switzerland. In 2018, he did his resident ship in Implant dentistry from the University of Bern, Switzerland under the guidance of the legendry Dr. Daniel Buser. He further went on to do his super specialization in soft tissue management in Implant Dentistry from the Steigmann Institute, Heidelberg Germany with yet another legend of Implant dentistry, Dr. Marius Steigmann as his guide. He holds life membership with some of the most prestigious implant institutes of India and abroad like ISOI, ITI, FOR and ICOI. He is the chairman of Continuing Dental Education activity of Indian Dental Association, Kolkata City Branch and is the Organizing Secretary of IDA annual conferences since last 3 years. He is a Key Opinion Leader for a few leading implant companies and lectures extensively for them. He also conducts webinars for Indian Dental Association.On the social front, he is well known for his selfless charitable service towards thousands of needy patients since last 20 years in association with the Gujrati society of Kolkata. He also has his significant contribution towards fundamental education of children in rural Bengal in association with IIT, Kharagpur.He maintains a specialty implant practice in Kolkata along with his wife since last 20 years and lives in the same city.
