Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee

Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee was very calm, cool, and composed during my visit for chest congestion. He explained everything clearly, and I was very satisfied with the consultation, rating it 5 out of 5.

My brother-in-law, Mr. Ramendra Nath Dhar, was admitted in AMRI Hospital, Dhakuria with AECOPD. In HRCT scan it was also noted that one of his teeth was aspirated and is stuck in the junction of windpipe and lungs. On 9th April 2020, Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee had operated and successfully taken out the tooth. My brother-in-law has recovered since then. He was very patient and polite in his discussions with me. I visited Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee for severe COPD. While the illness was identified, the timeline for starting antibiotics and antifungal treatment was unclear, and I rated the explanation and overall experience as average with a 3 out of 5.

Visit 16.3.2023 @AMRI DHAKURIA. Waited for much more than an hour. When I protested, I was called in to his chamber. It seemed he was in a rush – I found out that right after my visit, he was giving a lecture on the same premise. Doesn’t listen to the patient’s physical complaints nor was he ready to answer patients query as it seems he was too eager to get rid of me. **** **** *** ********* **** ** ******* ** *************! **** ********** ** ******* ******* ** ******* ************ *** ****** ******* **** ** *** ***** ** ** ******* ********** the doctors are taught to listen, and not to be rude!

Doctor's behaviour is very rude. He used a biological term and we (me and my wife) can't understand the term. So we asked again and he behaved very badly. Then we told him the problem about my chest pain. He said he don't know about this as a problem cause my report is very clear. Before,we consulted a cardiologist he also told us that there was no problem. But why the pain is causing he didn't give us any explanation. Also AMRI Dhakuriya has bad hospitality management system. But I think the doctor's behaviour should be more polite towards the patients. AMRI should know this. We're very offended and decided to not to go there again.

Doctor behaviour was rude and also problem statement was not entertained by the doc.Doc asked to perform various tests when test was done I went with reports which had few problems stated, but doc refused to prescribe meds for the infection which came in test.

Doctor is amazing and everything was going well. The medicines he prescribed were helpful to cure the problem. Fully satisfied with the doctor's consultation. In bombay I visited so many places then at last when I visited Kolkata I got a recommendation about the hospital, one of the top hospitals. The solution I got was from Dr. Suranjan Mukherjee I got satisfied from his treatment.

My observation, he was almost leaving for next assignment, somehow I managed to get in,he was in extreme hurry , I had all my medical documents , starting from BANGUR, Neurology, Neuroscience Park circus and NIMHANS ,Bangalore. But he didn't bother to go through those or listening to my present sufferings and medical history. I thought his main concern would be to give me some relief as I am having sleepless nights and then go with the follow up treatment and medical investigations.

This has been the most displeasing visit to any doctor in my entire life. I went with my wife for lung consultation the doctor didnt even talk to us for 10 mins and told directly to do Covid test to us and advised me for another surgery ***** ** *** ****** ** ******* ** *** ** ** ********* Even if i ignore the above the one thing i really cant ingnore is the doctors behaviour his shouting tendency *** **** *********** *** **** *** ***** ** ******* Which doctor will shout to a patient who is meeting for the first time and tell him that he will die if surgery is not done that also in front of his wife and mother, there is always a proper way to talk and communicate.

The objective of my post is not to spread negativity but to raise awareness that no expectation of **** ********* *** empathy can be expected from this doctor. I am really displeased **** **** ** ******* * ** ** ******* ******* ** **** **********

Doctor is very friendly to patient. The clarity in treatment is praiseworthy. The patient as well as the patient party must be psychologically uplifted after consulting him. His temperament and patience are noteworthy. We are really thankful to him.
