Dr. Sudipto Mukherjee

Dr. Sudipto Mukherjee is amongst top-notch orthopedics in India, currently serving patients' needs as an associate consultant Surgeon at Peerless Hospital & BK Roy Research Centre, Kolkata. He has voluminous experience in all kinds of joint replacements primarily hip, shoulder, knee elbow for close to 25 years. He is proficient in complex fractures & minimally invasive procedures with specialization in adult joint reconstruction, traumatology, and spine. Previously, he served the department of surgery, St.Stephen's Hospital, Delhi where he received basic surgical training in abdominal surgeries, neurosurgeries, plastic reconstruction and chest trauma and approach towards concerted/ protocolized management of various cases. To supplement his educational qualifications, Dr. Sudipto Mukherjee pursued AO Basic and International Advanced course on Advances in Fracture Management in 2004. On top of that, he did comprehensive trauma & life support course in 2009. Such in-depth knowledge empowered him to handle critical cases. Dr. Mukherjee has hands-on experience in management of CTEV and little deformity correction like idiopathic genu valgum, post-traumatic cubitus varus and valgus. In addition, he has operated and assisted in the treatment of gap and infective nonunion, deformity correction and bone lengthening.Dr. Sudipto Mukherjee has participated in many live surgery demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
