My elderly and comorbid father had developed a serious ear infection for which another ENT had even recommended surgery. We then met Dr. Maitra for a second opinion who then medically managed the infection successfully without the need of surgery.***** ****** ** *** ** *** **** ******* ** **** **** **** ******* He discussed both the problem and his approach extensively and clearly, which indeed extend for a long time and included in-patient care. The therapy continued at home thereafter, and there were times when things deteriorated, but Dr. Maitra was always approachable and speaking to him boosted our confidence each time.
