I am fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Rupa by a colleague for my pregnancy journey. Delivering a baby in a pandemic is a challenge, but Dr. Rupa and her clinic have set high bars in hassle-free pregnancy delivery. Her skilled expertise, methodology, and prompt responsiveness are everything you can ask. From our initial appointment, my husband and I both sensed ease with Dr. Rupa. She patiently explained my daily diet and exercise plan and explained the reasons behind every decision made.

Today, while most Obstetrician/Gynecologists schedule c-section delivery, Dr. Rupa still prefers the archaic style and encourages natural birth. Such experienced doctors are rare to find. We waited till 26th April and my due date was on 28th April. However, at the last moment, our doctor suggested that a slightly early delivery would be the best for both the child and me. Due to slight complications at the end, we had to go through a c-section. However, my notions about postoperative cesarean were quick to take a turn when I experienced a smooth surgery, almost no pain and a speedy recovery. No need for regular hospital visits, our doctor has always been just a call away.

Post-delivery, Dr. Rupa carefully explained how to care for the incision and advised us for telephonic consultation whenever required. It’s 13 days to have been blessed with a healthy baby boy, our pregnancy experience couldn't have been smoother. We are indebtedly thankful to Dr. Rupa for helping us bring our little bundle of joy into this world and our gratitude will never lessen. We are extremely happy with the journey and couldn't have asked for a better doctor for our care.

Got my normal delivery done 6 days ago. Many thanks to "Dr. Rupa Saran Ganguly" who had made this impossible task possible. She is what next to God for us at that crucial moment. I am about 34 age, have thyroid Doctors from big hospitals have inssisted us for Ceazarian by 37 week & refused normal delivery proposal from us. About 8 month (32week) we have come to Dr. Rupa S Ganguly, she accepted us cordially and told everything is in Gods hand but she will try her best to give us normal delivery. After that not only she had insisted us but also guided us in every step for approaching normal delivery. She checked thoroughly in every visit, explained purpose of medicine, cleared all doubts, listen all problems carefully, guided us in whatsApp for emergency situation, she helped us like a family member. I was surprised as no Dr. supported like this and was upset that why we didn't approach her earlier from 1st day itself. Now her real effort appeared when at 39th week, my water bag broke at this urgent moment also she had kept her commitment to give us a normal delivery. Really her effort and dedication at middle of night cannot be explained. She was in delivery room at 12 o'clock mid night fighting with two heart beats. Only a Doctor having such great experience can make this possible with such confidence. Please look her suggestion in YouTube for all usefulness of having normal delivery which may encourage people's for this step, at least to have it as 1st preference. If other Dr's feed you with negative views, come to her she will guide you the right way.During our parents generation most of the delivery was done normal only in special case go for ceazarian, but nowadays it's become opposite this happen only because of lack of patience and support from doctors. We have seen our parents given us strong life by bearing the labour pain then why couldn't we, this is because no doctor motivate us for a normal delivery. She is very generous, supportive and dependable. Once more, thanks to her for dedicating such great effort and make our life easy. It's a life time experience.Thank you maddam.

Exceptional Doctor Who Made Our NVD Possible!We had almost lost hope of a normal vaginal delivery in Kolkata after consulting four gynecologists and two hospitals, all of whom suggested a C-section. I moved to Calcutta at 32 weeks of my pregnancy- a city where getting a normal delivery is next to impossible. Had heard of a dozen stories where even when things are going well in pregnancy, doctors are just inclined and push women to get C-section done. Normal delivery is not even encouraged. In midst of this, I came across Dr RSG and got positive testimonies for her for NVD. Visited her and she was the doctor who was keen on having a NVD from the beginning if there are no complications. Even when there were some hiccups, she believed and gave confidence that if the baby’s movements are good in the womb, everything else said by any other report is secondary, while solving for those hiccups. Dr. Rupa is a rare breed of Doctors who is professional and strict, yet, extremely approachable and mentoring. I visited her from 32 weeks of my pregnancy and have delivered a healthy baby last week. Although I was abroad when my parents booked her facilities, she was available to me on phone for any queries even prior to meeting me personally. I saw her writing down my symptoms on her prescription even before she examined me and she was bang on about them. I started to get lower abdomen pains before 39 weeks and she immediately prescribed the medicines and shots I would have to get for a emergency delivery. Also, she still persists on a natural delivery in a country filled with c section obsessed doctors. I had to go for a c section cos of emergency, I felt very comfortable and safe during my surgery and bare minimum pain post op. I have heared her instructing the nurses “my patients should not feel any pain”. Its a treat to be under a doctor who is so protective about her patients. Very very highly recommended from me and my family.

I visited Dr. Rupa Sharan Ganguli for the first time on the 6th week of my pregnancy. Her straightforwardness, sensitivity and sensibility gave me the confidence to keep consulting her throughout my pregnancy. She is practical, professional,empathetic and caring. Although I was asked not to call her, I could reach out to her every single time I needed. She did not ask for any unnecessary visit to her. I had my normal delivery on the same day I was admitted. She ensured that I get my bed as fast as possible. The wait time was hardly 15 to 20 mins. She was continuously in contact with the doctors present in the hospital and rushed to hospital as soon as needed. The entire process of delivery was very smooth. I will recommend Dr Rupa Sharan Ganguly to all couples who are planning to have babies. She is a straight forward doctor who will give you facts and action plan without sugarcoating. All you need to do is trust her and follow her action plans. During initial few visits, she analysed my wife's health stat and sugested to follow medication and diet. She insisted on preparing body prior to pregnancy which proved quite helpful in the end. My wife delivered healthy twin girls couple of weeks back. Dr Ganguly was quite phenomenal in delivering the babies without surgery and any complexity. Labour was also not extended, we got admitted her at about 1 am and by 5:35 am, my both daughters came to this world. Though the time gap was not much, yet between the time Dr Ganguly was informed and she came to hospital, she was in constant touch with Gynaecologist and nusrsing staffs present at hospital.

Currently, my daughters are growing well and my wife is also healthy. She has recovered a lot in last couple of weeks.

We visited to Rupa mam first time during five months pregnancy and we were very impressed by the way she checked with physical touch along with review of all old reports and medication. She guided very positively from the very first appointment even though we came from a different doctor and she ensured we reach the final stage safely with required medicine, injection and tests as and when required. We could always reach her over phone and that was really required for us. We were very tensed about the risk factor of normal delivery during false pain phase but she convinced us we should wait as the reports were looking good. Finally, we were blessed with a baby girl by normal delivery couple of weeks back. We do not have enough words to thank her and we are amazed by the confidence she has shown with calmness during the days we started to panic. My wife was very much inspired by her words through out the check ups and in the labour room.
