Video consultation done For Gynae Problems

My wife had taken a video consultation with the doctor two days back. Chief complaints were irregular menstrual cycle , inflammation and vag itching due to infection. The doctor prescribed blood tests and asked for clinic visit. ** **** ********* **** *** ******** ********* *** ****** ******** ** **** ** ******* *** ******** *** ******* **** ** ****** ******No medicine at all. ***** **** ** *** **** ** ***** * ****** *** ******** ********* * ****** ******** ******* ***** What’s the point of video consultation if we have to visit clinic for getting medicine. We paid 800 bucks for nothing. ****** ***** **** ******** * * ******* *** ** *** *********** ** ********* ****** ** ********* ********* Not recommended at all!!!!

As per Online Consultation Guidelines framed by Govt of India, one can prescribe online medications ONLY with a diagnosis of reasonable surety based on a "good patient history " . With inconsistent symptoms which are open to many causes, blind prescription of medication online is NOT allowed. Patients need to understand that Online Consultation is NOT SUBSTITUTE to chamber consultation and clinical examination is sometimes an essential prerequisite to prescribing medicines. Moreover, prescribing any ointment based on vague symptoms is NOT GOOD OR ETHICAL PRACTICE. Hence the patient comment on a doctor's experience or confidence without proper knowledge of the subject shows her immaturity. Anyway , I wish you all the best for the future

Overall i dont have any personal grudge to burst out for, *** ****** ** ******* ***** ** ***** * **** *** ******* *** ** ************* ** *** ***** ** ******* ******* *** ****** ** ****** I consulted Dr. Rajana on 5th feb 2022 which i found to be a bad judgement call *** ** ******* ******** ******** My wife and myself had some queries to which we visited her and she didnt let her speak at all he was so confident that she was least bothered to even check our previous reports and bluntly gave abrut lectures which is of no use. I am currently staying in Bangalore and i have never faced such unprofessionalism from any doctor yet. The way he did the scanning of my wife was horrible to which she scared her to the brim. **** ****** ** *** ** **** *** *** **** ********* ***** *** ****** ****** *** ** *** **** **** ************* ***** *** ********** In short i wouldnt recommend Dr. Ranjana to anyone because of her attitude. This is not something i am paying to write but out of my own experience. Also, i visited her in Apollo clinic in Kolkata which is not mentioned here in Practo which is a weird thing to note.

I am relying today , rather late, because one of my patients insisted that I should reply- because what is described here is completely opposite to my behavior. I ALWAYS give a detailed hearing to my patient , infact my consultation often runs over 30 mts ... Secondly , I do NOT perform SCANS in chamber , never have. So this particular "scanning " issue cannot be true... maybe you are confusing with someone else totally.... Also, ALL my patients review from their personal experience... any other insinuation would be insulting your co - patients. Thank you and all the best to you.
