I wouldn't have given single star to this hospital if possible. Today on 8th May I am admitted for Gall stone surgery and my Dr. is Purnendu Roy. I was told by "Hospital Authority" that I'm supposed to come hospital for Surgery by 9am. Allbthe tests are dobe 2 days back and nothing was left apart from admission documentation which was done taking 2 hours time. Right now it's 11.16 am and I'm starving thirsty and "Hospital Authority" is clueless about when they're gonna take me to OT. As per the authority doctor is conducting multiple surgery today and they don't know when doctor will be available or when is my turn to arrive. This whole procedure is messed up and very harassing for the patients and their family.
As per the dietician, 30 patient are boarded for surgery today which will be done by one doctor. ** **** ***** **** ******** ** ******* ***** **** ********* ******* ********* ******** **** ****** *** *** *** ***
It feels extremely helpless and you just don't know whim to complaint and even there is anyone to log a complaint.
I will not recommend this hospital for anyone if you are paying or have a medical insurance either way.
Dr. Purnendu Roy called up my mother and sister and humiliated infront of everyone saying your patient doesn't have any patience there are many patients waiting in line from yesterday.
My question is if this was tge scenario why isn't it communicated. Hospital authority is supposed to inform patient and their family when to admit whenbthe syrgery will begin etc etc.
On top if that you have the audacity to make the patient feel more miserable mentally and physically and then cure them.
* *** **** *** ********** **** ** ******** *** ******** ********** Before doing gall bladder stone operation, I asked him that is there any stone in my bile duct, ******* ***** **** he said “NO”. After operation I had stomach pain on regular basis and for that I visited him 3 times, but he completely ignored this matter.
After 35 days of operation I had severe pain and visited nearby hospital (Hindustan health point). They given pain killer injection, but that didn’t work and then I had to admit in that hospital(HHP), they did MRCP and confirmed that one stone was stuck in my bile duct. Again I need to do ERCP and spend lot of money and was suffering that much. After ERCP, now I am fine. Very much disappointed with Dr Purnendu Roy.
