I had been suffering from depression and anxiety for a long time and was very worried about consulting a psychiatrist and taking psychiatric medication.
From both of my consultations, I was genuinely impressed by the time, patience, and attention the doctor gave me. She spent around an hour with me during each consultation, carefully listening to my concerns and helping me understand my condition and treatment. Unlike consultations where patients may receive only around 10 minutes, she made me feel that my concerns truly mattered.
She also listened patiently to my concerns about different medicines and dosages prescribed by other doctors. Understanding that I was overly cautious and anxious about medication, she customized my treatment plan according to my condition and explained everything thoroughly.
Even though I was still scared and anxious, she reassured me, counseled me, and encouraged me to follow proper treatment without fear. Talking to her itself made me feel better.
I have now been taking my medication for a week under her guidance, and I sincerely hope to recover and feel better with her continued consultation and support.
I also appreciate that she provided assistance over the phone and practo chat which gave me additional reassurance during this process.
