Visited For Blood in Urine (Hematuria) TreatmentCystoscopyBladder Cancer
Happy with: Doctor friendliness
I had visited Dr because my dad was having blood in urine. Dr first prescribed various tests like urine, blood tests, USG, CT scan based on which tumor in bladder was suspected. So my dad was admitted for cystoscopy, TURBT which is a relatively minor operation.
After the operation, Dr told us that they did not find any tumor in bladder so they went and looked further and found tumor in the ureter pipe. Further he has taken a sample for biopsy from the tumor as well. The biopsy sample was sent to a pathologist specialist for examination in AMRI but unfortunately the result was inconclusive as in cancer could not be confirmed (which is what biopsy is done for, to confirm cancer) .
I am happy with the experience with Dr. As far as I can tell Dr went by the right step by step for the treatment. Dr is very soft spoken and man of few words, but in my opinion effective in communication.
I only have two issues, first is the AMRI Mukundpur hospital was not properly managed, there was lot of chaos and I had to run from desk to desk, floor to floor for things like tests, bill and other formalities along with waiting for everything for hours. Second is that biopsy was inconclusive.

I do not recommend this doctor based on my experience.
I was previously hospitalized with an E. coli kidney/urinary infection and required approximately 15 days of IV meropenem. After that treatment, I had another urine culture showing Klebsiella pneumoniae, for which I subsequently received fosfomycin. The bacterial count remained a concern, and I was referred to this doctor for further evaluation.
Unfortunately, I did not feel that my concerns or previous medical records were properly listened to or reviewed. I had to undergo another set of investigations at considerable expense (around ₹8,000), and when the results came back, they continued to show the same issue I had been reporting.
I had also been experiencing urinary symptoms and other concerning symptoms, including breathing difficulties. **** * ****** *** ********* ****** * **** **** * *** ****** ****** **** ***** ********** **** * ******* ********** **** ******* * ****** ****** **** *** **** *** *** ********** ** **** ********* ************* * ***** **** ********* ************* *** ********** ************ ***** ** ****** *************** *** ********* ********
At my latest consultation, I was told that the results were essentially normal despite the urine culture showing 10⁵ CFU/mL of Klebsiella pneumoniae. * *** ********** *********** *** * **** **** ** ******** *** ********* **** *** ********** ********** **** * ***** *** * ***** ******* *** ****** ** * ********* ******** **** *** ********** ** ** ********* ********* * *** ****** **** ** ** ** *** ********* ********** ** ****** ****** ********* ******* ******* ** *** ****** *** ********* ************* ********** **** ******* ********* *** ** ****************** *** **** ** ************** **** ** ********* ** ** ******** *** *** *** ** ******** **** ************** * ******* ********* ********* *************** *** ******** ********** ******** ***** ********* * ******** * **** ******** ********** ** **** ***** ** ******* *** ********** *** **** *** ********* **** ***** ***
I personally would not recommend this doctor and would advise other patients with complex or recurrent infections to seek a second opinion.
I recommend Dr. Prasanna Kumar Mishra for his care and professionalism.
Good. Kind. Courteous. Helpful. Caring. Unhurried. Sympathetic. Professional. He gas a good command over his area if specialisation. Given my Father's age 87, he was gentle while examining him. He also ensured that my Father was not subject to any stress or anxiety as he asked my Father to sit outside while he discussed the case with me hus Don, Robin Banerjee
Respected Dr.is very polite and listen the patient carefully and try to make them understand what is the real problem is/was. I really impressed to visit him and advice everyone if there is any problem related to their uro or kidney they must take his valuable advise once.
My overall experience was very good, and I would rate it a five out of five. The doctor asked for reports, provided medicines, and advised me to visit again in three months. There wasn't much specific interaction beyond that, but the process was clear. The clinic staff and facilities were very good. Regarding the waiting time, my appointment was at 11:30, and I was seen around 11:40 or 11:45, so it was only about 10 to 15 minutes late, which was acceptable. I would recommend this doctor if needed.
I do not recommend Dr. Prasanna Kumar Mishra. Overall, I was not satisfied with the consultation.
