Happy with: Treatment satisfaction
I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Dhiman Kahali and his team at CK Birla Hospital for the exceptional care extended to my mother during a critical time.
My mother was admitted under Dr. Kahali’s supervision with symptoms of complete numbness in her left leg accompanied by significantly elevated blood pressure. Following the initial emergency assessment, she was admitted for further evaluation. After a day of diagnosis, it was determined that there was a strong likelihood of arterial blockage (to the best of my understanding as a non-medical person).
A peripheral angiography was required for confirmation; however, this posed a challenge due to her elevated creatinine level (2.4), making the procedure risky. It was at this stage that we first witnessed Dr. Kahali’s clinical prudence and expertise. Respectful of our concerns and mindful of the risks involved, he chose to wait, allowing time for the creatinine levels to improve before proceeding.
Once the angiography was safely conducted, the diagnosis was confirmed. The subsequent intervention was initiated the very next evening around 8:30 PM and extended well past 1:00 AM. What stood out most was Dr. Kahali’s unwavering presence throughout the entire procedure. Following the intervention, he personally reviewed the results and later met us to explain that the blockage had been successfully cleared and that blood flow had been restored to normal.
While this narration may seem detailed, it is difficult to fully capture the impact of Dr. Kahali’s role in our lives during this period. His calm demeanor, reassuring presence, confidence, and tireless dedication—whether in the early evening or late into the night—were truly remarkable. His commitment to patient care goes beyond clinical excellence; it reflects deep compassion and professionalism.
I would also like to place on record my appreciation for Mr. Sitesh Bhattacharjee, Dr. Kahali’s coordinator. He plays a crucial role in bridging communication between the doctor and patients’ families. His attentiveness, empathy, and willingness to assist at every step provided us with immense comfort and assurance during a stressful time.
Overall, our experience was deeply reassuring and positive. We are immensely grateful to Dr. Kahali and his team for their outstanding support and care.
Wishing Dr. Kahali continued good health and success in the years ahead.
Initially, I was very upset with Dr.Kahali as barely spoke and pressed for admission in CCU for my thorough examination including coronary angiography. The prima facie apparently rude behaviour of the doctor created a negative impression on me. So, I came back without listening to his advice. Actually, I should have listened. After few days, feeling acute chest pain and tightness in chest, I was compelled to be admitted in a reputed Heart Institute and carried out my Coronary Angiography and other tests in the same manner that was prescribed earlier. During my stay at that hospital, I found Dr.Kahalai talking well to his patients after their angiography and recommending them necessary medicines with careness. So, on 2nd thought based on my first hand experience, I would recommend Dr.Kahali. I am sorry for my initial review on that old man. He is surely an experienced doctor.

Very rude behaviour. Doesn't allow the patients to explain the issue. Very impolite personality. Terrible conduct during examination of the patient. Kept checking his phone while he kept us waiting. Didn't even tell us what should be the next course of action. Not recommend at all.
I have taken appointment and visited the hospital for cardiology concern, when we have visited the appointment we have to wait for long time, which I had faced lot of problem because I had travelled from distance for hospital. I would not like to revisit his hospital and II would not like to recommend this doctor for any only.
