My mother diagnosed with right sided discectomy, she was suffering from acute pain in her right side, specially in her right leg and not able to stand properly. The pain was so exorbitant that she was not able to stand properly for a few minutes, the condition was so bad. After the complete diagnosis Dr. Singhania suggested for her L3-L4 and L4-L5 right sided discectomy and bilateral foraminotomy at earliest. We were hesitant to go for surgery considering her age and other medical condition and also the spine surgery that's a risky affair as always it's having some doubts that patient will be living normal as earlier with out any stress to walk properly. Dr. Singhania assured me and my family that after operation everything will be normal and my mother will not be having any issues in her day to day activities. The operation conducted on June 14th, by Dr. Singhania himself and assured that it's a successful one, I was accompanying her during this activities in Apollo Hospital, Kolkata. After the operation there was no pain at all, after 24 HRS, my mother was able to walk without any difficulties. She was discharged after 5 days.
