Dr. Aloke Gopal Ghoshal has more than thirty years of clinical and teaching experience as Professor and Head of Respiratory Medicine. He nurtured the stream from its infancy to its present super specialty status in Bengal and in India. A revered teacher, academician and researcher, he has illustrious students across the globe. But the most he is known as a master clinician. He specializes in Obstructive Airway Diseases (Asthma / COPD), Diffuse Parenchymal Lung Disease (Interstitial Lung Disease - ILD), Tuberculosis, including Drug Resistant TB and Sleep. He has Devised a bed&ndashside Lung Function InstrumentRESPRESS. He has published several papers in National International Journals and texts books.
