Dr. Abhijit Sarkar

I had been associated with Dr Soma Sengupta since my child was born,after she left Apollo I could not find anyone who was as good as her.Finally my tension was over after I met Dr Abhijit Sarkar.He was very humble and approachable.I would strongly recommend him to everyone who is looking for a good peadiatrician in Kolkata.He was very helpful by referring a good dermatologist aswell for my kid,she had been facing viral warts issue since a long time now.After Doctor Abhijit's referral finally we got rid of that issue.He gave me the complete solution to all my child's issue.

I visit Dr. Sarkar for my Daughter since she's just 1month old. I am highly satisfied with His Treatment & Consultation. The best part of Him is He never scares you with the problem for which your child is suffering. He handles everything calmly & makes you realize everytime that Nothing to Worry about. Never gives so much unnecessary Medicines. Highly recommend to every Parents.

I am taking my baby to Dr. Sarkar since he was 1.5 months old. And now he is 9 months. I admire the way he treats the children. He is very sensible person. We visit first time & doctor very cooperative. I get responses in phone. I think Sir diagnosed my son's problem and has given proper medicine. My son was suffering from cough from last five month & he ditect the problem as dust allergies. My son is quite ok than previous.

We visited Dr. Abhijiy at the appointment scheduled through practo, and we didn't have to wait an extra minute to meet him. Dr. Abhijit was very systematic and organised in his approach. Since, we primarily went for vaccinations, it would be unfair to comment about his diagnosis capabilities. But other than that aspect, he listened and answered all our queries patiently and gave very insightful suggestions as to how to go forward. Really very happy to have consulted him.

I am visiting him since I was just 1 day old .His treatment always helped me no matter what the problem or disease was about with right medication he advised cured them all. Today I am 16+ I know I have crossed the age to visit a pediatrician and I am sad for that. He is my favourite doctor and always will be . Today I aspire to be a pediatrician because of him. My daughter keep suffering from different problems. There is a doctor we have been seeing him since my dauther was born. Recently she got fever and cold. She is underweight and her growth is below average. We went to this doctor to discuss the facts, wanted to share the current doctors prescription and treatment and wanted to know his suggestion. He did not have time to listen to us, look at the current medicines, the immunization chart and etc. He simply prescribed few medicines for fever and asked us to visit again after a week. He really gave us hardly 3 to 4 minutes of his time. I live in Bangalore and after my son was born I went to a place near Calcutta, he was only 1.5 months old. The paediatric in Bangalore is unbelievablly good, humble and thorough in checking every important organs development. When I reached wb I was in dilemma which doctor to approach for any disease. Initially I met one doctor and when he prescribed an Antibiotic then I just refused to treat my new born from him and met this doctor near swamiji sporting club for common cold and vaccination. Initially I felt 700 is expensive for that kind of set-up. He is quick, competent and doesn't give much medicine until really required. I didn't approach him for any serious problem. I recommended this doctor to one of my friend and it's an serious issue, she is very happy with the doctor and his diagnosis. Overall he is a good doctor. It would be good if he spend more time with each patient instead of calling next.
