My father 85 years old has been admitted in B M Birla Heart Research Centre, Kolkata for replacement of heart valve (LV) under the renowned TAVI/TAVR specialist Dr Joy Shaibal Shome on 20th April'25.

First of all, we entire family wish to convey our deep regards and thanks to Dr Joy Shome and his team for successful valve replacement surgery and given our father a new normal life. We were very fortunate to have Dr Shome with us for my father's treatment. He is **** ************** wonderful and kind-hearted doctor, we ever met. My father was so happy and expressed his feelings that he has never seen such a doctor in his entire life of 85 years. Dr Shome is not only an expert doctor in TAVI/TAVR but a wonderful human being. He was easily accessible to each and every family member through calls and messages 24x7 basis except the OT hours. Before and after the surgery, he explained everything to us and help us to motivate and plan accordingly. After the TAVI surgery, father was needed Pacemaker to implant and that too executed successfully on the very next day after TAVI.

Our experience in B M Birla Hospital is excellent for their services and proper treatment protocol. All the staff, sisters, medical attendants were excellent in their respective area.

Now my father is absolutely fine and leading normal life.

We wish Dr Joy Shome good luck for helping the people with his expertise and treatment. We strongly recommend our family and friends to visit Dr Joy in case of any heart related issue.

I had consulted Docter Sabyasachi Paul at B. M. Birla Cardiac Research Centre for my Father's heart problem. He advised us to implant pacemaker due to some conduction issue and describe us very clearly why it's obvious for us. He is very energetic and positive minded docter . My father is now recovering day by day after operation done by him and he had also appreciated this docter for his post operative care. We are very much satisfied and benefited by the service provided by B. M. Birla Cardiac Research Centre and Dr. Sabyasachi Paul. We wish him good luck. 🙏

To say that Dr. Daga is brilliant would be an understatement. His humility and pragmatism stands out. He listens to issues very carefully and addresses them in terms of their priorities. My father-in-law had his CABG done by Dr. Daga at BMB and our overall experience has been wonderful. We shall always remain grateful to Dr. Daga. May he be blessed with good health and a long life. He can do a world of good to many heart patients.

My bye pass operation was dine by Dr. Ratan Das, he is very polite by nature and very convincing and explained everything in detail to each family member of my family. After operation he is very friendly not only with patient but also with family members, it never looked that we are talking with a heart surgeon. In all respect, he is superb 👏
