Dr. AM Jain

Dr. A. M.Jain is a prominent name in the realm of ophthalmology. An alumnus of S N Medical College, Agra, Dr. Jain was awarded MS under the tutorship of the stalwart in Ophthalmology-DR P N Awasthi. He started his professional career at Dr. Rajendra Rohatgi institute of Ophthalmology - Kanpur and was shortly appointed Lecturer in the Dept. of Ophthalmology, GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. He grew in experience and training having made inroads in newer techniques and adapting to technical innovations in Ophthalmology and is proud to have many of his students doing excellently well in all super specialty training like IOL implants, Oculoplasty given to them at the Department and contributed greatly in the up gradation of the department and strengthened medical teaching programs in the college. Dr. A M.Jain retired as Professor and Head, Dept of Ophthalmology and then joined Rama Medical College as Prof and HOD,Dept of Ophthalmology while at the same time devoting time to his specialty Clinic- Pushpdant Eye Center which is the state of the art clinic with the latest in equipment to provide the patients world-class eye treatments. His area of specialties involves apart from cataract surgery, oculoplastic, orbital, lacrimal, periocular aesthetic surgery, and refractive surgery . Dr AM Jain has held several positions in the college, in the societies and has won several honours, among them the Life Time Achievement Award by the UPSOS in 2018.
