Dr. Shubhang Aggarwal M.Ch. Orth. (U.K.) is the only Superspecialist Orthopaedic Joint replacement surgeon in Jalandhar / Doaba region, one of a handful in India.Born and brought up in Jalandhar, he did his basic Medical and Orthopaedic training at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, where he was exposed to a variety of orthopaedic specialities like Arthroplasty, Arthroscopy, Spine surgery, Traumatology and Paediatric orthopaedics.From there, he got selected for super-speciality training i.e. M.Ch. Orth. (U.K.) at Ninewells Hospital, University of Dundee, Scotland. During is stay in U.K., he interacted and trained with authorities in Joint Replacement. He trained in Hip Resurfacing with Dr. Derek Mcminn at Birmingham and Computer Assisted Knee Replacement at Southampton in the U.K. He was certified trained in the use of Computer assisted surgery (CAS) systems at Melbourne, Australia. He trained in uncemented knee replacement in France and Revision Knee replacement surgery in Germany. He also trained in shoulder Arthroscopic and replacement surgery in Germany and Thailand. He worked at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, U.S.A. as a travelling fellow and attained skills of saving the cartilage of hip and knee from arthritis.
