Peptic ulcer occurs when the stomach acid erodes the inner surface of your stomach or intestines. There are various reasons why peptic ulcer occurs, such as over intake of painkillers, anti-inflammatory pain relievers including aspiring and infection caused by bacteria H. Pylori.
Some of the common symptoms include pain which can be dull in the chest or upper abdomen area, belching, heartburn, indigestion, nausea, passing excessive amounts of gas, or vomiting. If these ulcers are left untreated, it can lead to painful sores that bleed causing complications.
