No Pain Doesn't Mean No Problem.  For many people with diabetes, nerve damage can reduce or even eliminate the ability to feel pain in the feet.  As a result, cuts, blisters, burns, or pressure injuries may go unnoticed until they become serious. That's why waiting for pain is never a good idea.    Check your feet every day for: ----

• Cuts or blisters

• Redness or swelling

• Cracks in the skin

• Changes in skin color

• Wounds that aren't healing

Early detection and timely treatment can help prevent infections, foot ulcers, and other serious complications. Your feet may not hurt—but they still need your attention.
