There's a new slogan doing the rounds - “SITTING IS THE NEW SMOKING”

  • What it means is pretty much what it says - THAT SITTING IS AS BAD AS SMOKING
  • According to healthcare experts, sitting is a ticking time bomb of ill health just waiting to explode
  • The World Health Organisation has already identified physical inactivity as fourth biggest killer on the planet, ahead of obesity
