Pregnancy And Thyroid - Hypothyroidism In Pregnancy

1. Normal levels of thyroid hormone is necessary to have a normal pregnancy and birth
2. If you are pregnant, ask your gynaecologist to have your thyroid function tested during pregnancy.
3. Your TSH during pregnancy must be less than 2.5 miu/ml in the first three months.
4. Regularly check your TSH at least every 4 - 6 weeks to adjust the doses of thyroxine.
