Oral health is directly related to the hormonal changes going through in the body during period of pregnancy.

The occurrence of bleeding gums or swollen gums is seen in almost 30 to 100% of all pregnant women. Sometimes overgrowth of gums is also seen. They can be cured easily with regular check ups and follow ups. Most of time this is resolved after the pregnancy and if not resolved, then minor procedure is done at dental office. All these symptoms are usually painless.
