There are 3 important vaccinations which should be given to pregnant mother..

1)#Tetanus toxoid - It is given  when the mother comes to the clinic in early pregnancy

2)#Tdap vaccine - it is given from 27 weeks to 36 weeks of pregnancy.. It gives protection to mother against tetanus and pertussis.. Additionally also gives passive immunity against Pertussis to the newborn via transplacental transfer of maternal antibodies.

3)#Flu vaccine. It also transfers maternal antibodies against flu to newborn.
