Dixit Dental Care<<<>>>Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic therapy, is a dental procedure used to treat a tooth that has a diseased or infected pulp (the innermost part of the tooth containing nerves and blood vessels). The pulp can become infected due to deep decay, a cracked or fractured tooth, or trauma. The goal of a root canal is to save the tooth by removing the infected or damaged pulp, cleaning and disinfecting the inside of the tooth, and then sealing it to prevent further infection.
