Its recommended fork growing kids parents to take care of their kids nutritional need at a growing age.A growing kid needs a balanced diet  to meet up his/her daily nutritional needs,eating right kind of foods /opting for healthy food habits at this age helps growing kids overall growth & development in a better way.  

At this age,most of the kids are fussy eaters,they are looking for tasty foods ,they eat what they like to eat most of the time,its role of their parents to take up nutritional counselling from a registered dietitian to get 

a better guidance on nutritional needs of their kids.  most of the parents hesitates to take up nutritional counselling from a food expert for getting better guidance on nutrition ,so its my sincere request to get a   

better advice from a registered dietitian what they should give their kids at this age which helps them to 

maintain a better health in their future life.  

              Growing kids nutritional needs  - 1) carbohydrate rich foods like cereals or cereal products, sugar etc

                                                                                they need for enhancing their energy level. 

                                                                        2) protein rich foods like milk or other dairy products,soy or soy products such as tofu,soy milk etc, dried nuts like almonds,walnuts,pistachios etc,all pulses and legumes,  

animal proteins such as eggs,chicken ,fish,etc should be included in their diet but in moderate amount .    

                                                                3) fats containing foods such as desi ghee,butter, dry fruits,cooking oil,                                                                         cheese etc should be included in moderate amount.  

                                                                   4) all seasonal fruits  , different types dried nuts,different type of  

                                                                       millets like oats,dailya ,qunioa etc, green vegs and leafy vegs to 

                                                                          be added into their diet

                                                                      5) All these above foods contain different essential vitamins and                                                                                     minerals which are equally important for them.  

                                                                        6) Avoid mostly spicy,masala rich or gravy foods or deep fried foods, junk foods,empty calorie containing foods like extra sugary foods items,canned fruit juices,cold drinks,chips, 

salted kurkure,chowmeins,momos etc from including into their diet. 

                                                                          7) proper water intake is also very much essential for better digestion of foods inside the stomach.   

                                                       Thus,growing kids proper attention in case of mantaining a healthy foods habit with physical activity to maintain a good health.
