A 88 year old patient came to us with a broken tooth and on complete examination-We realised that the tooth cannot be restored.The tooth was completely decayed and only the root piece was left. After complete examination, we decided to extract the tooth and replace it with an implant immediatelyThe Tooth is carefully extracted making sure that the bone and soft tissue surrounding the tooth is preserved Using an antiseptic solution, the socket is completely cleaned and disinfected.Then the site is prepared to place an implant.The site is securely sutured.Patient is recalled after a week to check for healing
