More health related issues and vitamins or  minerals deficiency issues arises with age over 50.For that

50 plus women should take extra care of her diet.     

              Some diet guidelines for 50 plus women pointed out as follow :-

                                                          1) Include milk and other dairy products in moderation along with

                                                              veg sources of proteins like pulses & legumes, soy beans n soy products,

                                                              dry fruits n animal sources of protein like eggs,chicken,fish.   

                                                            2) Try to add on simple carbs food sources like white rice,white sugar,

                                                              maida or maida contained food products in less amount where as

                                                             complex carb food sources like brown rice,all millets like oats,daliya,

                                                              ragi,quinoa,jowar etc in moderation for better digestion n absorption

                                                               inside the stomach.

                                                             3) Try to add on fruits any seasonal one, salads of any sort,dry fruits,

                                                                 and different kinds of seeds like flax seeds,chia seeds,sunflower

                                                                  seeds,pumpkin seeds etc into your diet.

                                                               4) Try to add on green vegs and leafy vegs into your daily diet in

                                                                      well cooked form . Use cooking oil like sunflower oil, rice bran

                                                                        oil,mustard oil, olive oil with minimal usage .

                                                                   5) Try to add on different forms of legumes like chickpeas,kidney

                                                                        beans,into your daily diet.  

                                                                    6) Try to avoid as much as possible deep fried,more spicy or

                                                                           gravy food items.
